About EDU
Trotec EDU is a program designed to help bring teachers, students, school board members and laser professionals together to achieve a common mission. The mission is to provide access to laser technology, education and applications for students.
At Trotec, we believe that lasers are a tool to help students achieve lasting success in their careers in countless professional industries like: industrial design, architectural, mechanical engineering, automation, woodworking, furniture building, point-of-purchase display, signage, metal fabrication, acrylic processing, jewelry, fashion and so much more!

Trotec EDU provides schools with the following:
- EDU Curriculum Guide – A guidebook to teachers on projects and applications to teach their students on handling our lasers
- EDU Teacher’s Hub – An open database of school projects that teachers and students can share across Canada
- Fundraising – Trotec EDU offers help in guiding initiatives for fundraising during school events for the laser program
- PD Day – Trotec provides a full PD Day training event for teachers and school boards to learn more about laser technology for education
