Education session — after the showcase

For teachers, lecturers, lab technicians and heads of department. A free session that runs immediately after the monthly machine showcase, in the same room, for education visitors only — because the questions a school has about a machine are not the questions a factory has.

What we cover

• Classroom applications — what students can realistically make in a single lesson, a term project, and a graduation piece
• Curriculum fit — where the machine lands in design, engineering, architecture and technical programmes
• Safety and supervision — laser class, extraction in an occupied room, and the materials that must never be cut
• What a lab actually needs beyond the machine: extraction, materials, consumables, bench space, technician time
• Presentation material you can take back to a faculty meeting or a procurement committee — the part most people actually come for

Why we run it separately

A department rarely buys after one visit. It buys after someone internally makes the case, and that person needs figures, safety answers and pictures of student work — not a sales brochure. This session exists to give them that.

Booking

Free, and open to anyone from a school, university, technical college or training institute. Attend the showcase first if you can; if you cannot, book this session on its own and tell us your subject area.
