Most people who have had a laser for six months are using a fraction of it. Not through any fault: the machine will happily cut rectangles forever and never mention that it could have been doing rotary work, relief engraving, or running a hundred identical parts off a jig without anyone realigning anything.

What the day covers

Cut, engrave, mark
When each is the right answer, what each costs in time, and why the same file produces three different results.
Clean edges
Getting acrylic, plywood and MDF to cut without scorching, without a tapered edge, and without a second pass.
Photo and relief engraving
Dithering, resolution, contrast preparation. Why a first attempt usually comes out grey and flat, and what to change.
Jigs and fixtures
The single biggest productivity change available to a lab. Running the same job a hundred times without aligning anything by eye.
Nesting and batching
The difference between forty minutes and four hours for one class set. Covered with real numbers.
Rotary work
Bottles, tumblers, cylindrical parts, and the setup that decides whether the engraving closes up neatly or not.
File preparation
Illustrator, CorelDRAW or Inkscape — line weights, colour mapping, and the silent failures that make a file do nothing at all.
Diagnosing a bad result
Settings, file, material, optics or focus. Working out which, quickly, instead of changing everything at once.

How it runs

At our Riyadh showroom, on a machine from the same family as yours. Send your own files ahead and we will work on those rather than on samples — it is a better day and you leave with something you can use.

You leave with the parameter sets we used, written down. The first week back at your own machine should not be spent guessing at numbers you already watched work.

Groups of up to eight. Beyond that people stop touching the machine.
