Campus tournament — we bring the machines

We bring the machines to your campus and run a design tournament for your students. They design, the machine cuts it in front of them, and the pieces stay with you. It is the fastest way we know to show a department what this equipment does — because a student holding something they made an hour ago is a more convincing argument than any brochure.

How a tournament day runs

• We arrive with the machine, the extraction and the materials — nothing is needed from you but a room and power
• Students get a brief: a keyring, a nameplate, an architectural model piece, a mechanism — set to the subject you teach
• They design it, we run it, and they hold the result the same day
• Judging and a short presentation on how the machine is used industrially
• Winners keep their pieces; so does the department

What it costs

The first visit to an institution is free. We cover the machine, the operator, the materials and the travel, because we would rather show you than tell you. Repeat events are quoted — by then you know what you are getting and we can size the day properly.

Why we do it

Honestly: because departments that run a tournament often decide they want their own lab, and we would rather that decision be made by people who have seen the machine work with their own students than by a committee reading a specification. If it does not lead there, the students still had the day.
