Three things decide which laser you need

• The material. CO₂ cuts and engraves acrylic, wood, glass, leather, paper and textiles. Fibre marks metal. A Flexx machine carries both and switches between them inside one job.
• The sheet size. A bed that takes your stock in one pass removes a whole handling step; that is the entire argument for the SP flatbeds over a desktop machine.
• The duty cycle. A machine running two hours a week and one running two shifts a day are not the same purchase, whatever they cut.

Extraction is part of the machine, not an accessory

Laser processing produces fume and particulate. An extraction unit sized to the actual materials is what makes the installation safe and legal in an occupied room, and it is quoted with every machine rather than left for later.
