Service

Service terms.

How service visits, repairs, maintenance, installation and training work when Lawazen engineers look after your machine. Buying from the shop is covered by our Terms of Service and refund policy.

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to work our engineers do on Trotec laser machines, extraction and the other equipment we supply in Saudi Arabia: installation, operator training, service visits, repairs, preventive maintenance and fitting parts. Anything agreed in writing on a quotation or a service contract takes priority over these terms.

2. Booking a visit

Book through Book a service, from My Lawazen, or on WhatsApp. Tell us the machine model and serial number and what is happening; a photo or a short video helps us bring the right parts. We confirm the date and the engineer before the visit.

On the day, please make sure the machine can be reached, it has power and its extraction connected, and someone who uses the machine is there to show the problem.

3. Warranty

New Trotec machines come with Trotec's manufacturer warranty. In Saudi Arabia, Lawazen engineers carry out the warranty work. The warranty terms for each machine are stated on its quotation.

The warranty does not cover consumables and wear parts, damage from misuse, accidents, power faults, cutting materials the machine is not meant to cut, or work on the machine by anyone other than Lawazen or Trotec. Registering your machine in My Lawazen keeps its records in one place and makes warranty claims quicker.

Before we start paid work, you get a quotation for the labour, the parts and, outside Riyadh, the travel. We do not go beyond it without your approval. If the engineer finds something else during the visit, we tell you and quote it before doing it.

5. Parts

We fit original Trotec parts. Any warranty on a part we fit is stated on the quotation. Unused parts in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery; parts ordered specially for your machine cannot be returned.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are in Saudi riyals and exclude VAT; 15% VAT is added and shown on the quotation and on your tax invoice. Pay by bank transfer with the quotation number as the reference, or against your purchase order. Payment terms for regular accounts are agreed with each account.

7. Service reports

Every visit ends with a service report: what was found, what was done, the parts used and what to watch next, signed by the engineer. You get a copy in My Lawazen, or printed where your organisation needs it.

8. Safety

Our engineers may stop or postpone work that is not safe to carry out, for example a machine with a bypassed safety interlock or no working extraction. See Laser safety for the habits that prevent most problems.

9. Changing or cancelling a visit

Please tell us as early as you can if you need to move a visit. If an engineer travels to a site that is not ready for the work, the visit may be charged as stated on the quotation.

10. Your information

We keep your machine details and service history to support your machine, and share them only with Trotec where a warranty claim or a technical question needs it.

11. Questions

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Questions: WhatsApp +966 53 599 0644 (Sunday to Thursday) or the contact page.
